Clayton has worked in the oil and gas industry for 16 years in an array of facilities and construction management roles.  In his early career he gained experience in the Gulf of Mexico in a field engineering role and in Egypt as a Process Safety Engineer carrying out risk assessments for gas and oil processing facilities (Western Desert, Gulf of Suez, and Mediterranean Coast).  He spent 10 years working as a Facilities Engineer and Engineering Manager in the San Juan Basin, focusing his efforts on infrastructure planning and project execution for new well delivery, gathering system capacity improvements, and compressor stations.  Most recently he has worked in a business development role in Eagle Ford, developing infrastructure solutions for new oil and gas streams as well as water gathering / disposal. Clayton has a demonstrated ability to integrate between all functions within a business development organization and has a passion for implementing creative but pragmatic solutions that deliver long term value.  He also has a strong track record in developing effective risk management strategies for development programs that face a high level of uncertainty.

Clayton has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
